About MiTax

We're rebuilding tax for everyday Nigeria.

Tax should not need a tax expert. We're building the platform that makes calculating, filing, and paying your tax feel as ordinary as sending money on your bank app.

Founded in Nigeria, 2025 Worllet Ltd, a JCP Group company Never holds your funds NTA 2025 aligned

Our mission

Tax, in plain English, for the people who actually pay it.

We built MiTax because the tax system was working against the everyday Nigerian. A young earner in Surulere should not need to learn an acronym to file a return. A clothing shop in Yaba should not have to choose between paying a consultant ₦25,000 a month and risking a penalty. The platform we wanted to build is the platform we wished existed: one that knows the rules so you do not have to.

The first rule we set was simple. Every screen, every label, every prompt has to make sense to someone who has never read a tax law in their life. We translate. PAYE becomes salary tax. WHT becomes the tax taken off a vendor payment. If a sentence needs a glossary, we rewrote it. That principle drives the product more than any feature decision.

The second rule is structural. All of our tax math runs on our servers, never on your phone. That means the numbers you see are the same numbers the government sees, computed against the same rules, audited the same way. And MiTax never holds your money. Payments flow from you, through a licensed processor, straight to the government. We earn from a small, capped fee, and from subscriptions that you can cancel any month.

How we make money

No hidden fees. Here are the real numbers.

Transaction fee
We add a service fee on every tax payment processed through MiTax. The money still goes straight to the government; we collect the fee separately.
1% of payment
Minimum fee
Small payments cost us almost the same to process as large ones, so there is a floor. Below this floor, the 1% is replaced by a flat minimum.
₦500
Maximum fee
Large taxpayers do not pay proportionally more. The fee caps once it hits this ceiling, so a ₦5 billion CIT payment costs the same as a ₦50 million one.
₦250,000
Subscriptions
Plans run from ₦1,500 to ₦25,000 per month, billed monthly or annually. Free is genuinely free, with no trial timer.
₦1,500 to ₦25,000
TCC and advisory commissions
When a Tax Clearance Certificate or paid advisory booking is generated through MiTax, we earn a small commission from the partner firm fulfilling it.
Disclosed at checkout

That is the entire list. No card-on-file traps, no surprise renewal hikes, no upsells dressed as features. If we ever change one of these numbers, you will hear it from us first.

Worllet Ltd

Worllet Ltd is the operating company behind MiTax. We are a Nigerian financial-technology firm registered in Lagos, focused on building infrastructure for the country's tax and financial-compliance economy. Worllet was founded in 2025 specifically to deliver MiTax, and stays focused on this single mission.

Every product decision is made in Nigeria by a team that pays Nigerian tax. Our engineers, designers, and tax specialists work in the same time zone as the people they build for, with on-the-ground research in Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt informing every release.

JCP Group

Worllet Ltd is a subsidiary of JCP Group, a diversified Nigerian holding company with interests across financial services, technology, and infrastructure. JCP has operated in Nigeria for over a decade, building businesses that serve everyday Nigerians rather than chasing offshore exits.

The group's backing gives MiTax the patience to do this properly: to build the regulatory relationships with NRS and state IRSes that this product depends on, to invest in compliance and security to bank-grade standards, and to keep our pricing fair without venture-style pressure to extract from customers.
