We built MiTax because every Nigerian deserves to be on time with NRS without paying for an accountant.
Mission
MiTax was started in Lagos by Nigerians who got tired of watching ordinary people get penalized for the same tax laws that companies routed around. We believe compliance should be the default, the math should be on the server, and your money should never sit in someone else’s wallet on the way to NRS. We are starting with personal tax, then business tax, then everything else.

Four things we will not compromise on.
We never hold your money.
Your payment goes from you to the PSP, then straight to the NRS treasury. We earn from a 1 percent transaction fee, not from float.
Server-authoritative math.
Every tax computation runs on our server, audited against NTA 2025. The client app never decides what you owe.
Plain English over jargon.
If we cannot explain a filing in one sentence, the workflow is wrong. We rewrite until it lands.
Nigerian-first, Africa-next.
NRS, State IRS, NTA 2025 are the bones. Once Nigeria is solved, we extend to Ghana, Kenya, South Africa.
