When a firm shares MiTax, the invite and the client’s onboarding carry a “Recommended by your firm” line. It builds trust for your client and keeps your firm in the loop as they file.

Your MiTax account shows the current reward, qualifying action, limits and credit timing before you share a referral.

Who can refer
Any MiTax account holder with a valid referral link. Referrer and referred person must be different individuals or entities.

The reward
Both accounts receive the reward shown in MiTax after the qualifying action is confirmed. Rewards apply to MiTax fees or subscriptions and are never paid as cash.

Qualifying action
The referred person opens MiTax through your referral link and completes the qualifying action shown in your account within the stated period.

Limits and caps
The current fair-use cap and earning period appear in your account. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts and fraudulent activity are excluded.

How rewards are paid
MiTax credits the reward after the qualifying action is confirmed. The applicable timing appears in your account. MiTax is never holds your funds, so rewards are never paid out as cash.

Changes and fair use
MiTax may change or end this program, and may withhold rewards for abuse. Rewards have no cash value except as stated. Full terms are governed by the MiTax Terms.
